Internal parasites are generally passed to the puppies while they are in utero, so the best means of parasite control is to assure that the mother is worm-free while she is pregnant. We do our best to make sure this happens, but we do treat our puppies with a de-wormer before they go to their new homes.

One way t o help rid your yard of fleas and other parasites without using chemicals is to sprinkle the ground with Diatomaceous Earth (DE).
